About Us The stepping stones of this group were laid down in 2006 after guitarist/vocalist Carl Schreiber broke away from local act, The Neverly Brothers. Wanting to get a fresh start with a new band, Carl went on the hunt, looking for an upright bass player who would be an ideal fit for his new Rockabilly band. |
|||
|
While out at a Blasters performance in Chicago
one snowy winter night, he bumped into a mutual friend who
introduced him to an upright bass player by the name of Jason
Musser. Jason, familiar with Carl's musical background and drawn by
the image of flashy vintage jackets and gravity-defying hairdos,
joined forces with Carl and the two set out to find the perfect
drummer for the group. As luck would have it, Tracy heard of their
quest, got in touch, and from their first note together it was clear
that this killer rockin’ band was complete.
Today, they form the
Cadillac Casanovas. Meet the Band... |

Carl Schreiber Lead guitar & Vocals |

| Carl has been the front man for many bands since the early 80’s including Hi-Fi and the Roadburners, The DuValls, the Chasers and most recently, The Neverly Brothers. While with Hi-Fi and the Roadburners he opened for the Stray Cats at Park West and while with the DuValls he opened for the Brian Setzer Orchestra at the Vic. After much begging and pleading, in 2010 Carl was officially endorsed by Gretsch Guitars. | ||||

Jason Musser
Upright Bass & Vocals |
|||
|
Still a relatively new addition to the
Cadillac Casanovas, Jason joined the band in the winter of
2010 but was immediately comfortable with this Chicago-based raucous three-piece.
Jason has been seen all over Chicagoland, sitting in with
many other bands but the Casanovas were lucky enough to lure
him away with promises of rock star parking spots and
massive amounts of cute female groupies.
Jason has made his singular style obvious and thrills crowds
not only with his bass playing but also with his witty
one-liners and snappy story-telling in between songs. Jason
has recently been endorsed by
Euphonics Audio.

Kenny Wayne Shepherd & Edwin McCain.
